Njoya Present's "The Harlem Knitting Circle" is a social network for fabric artist, knit & crochet designers-professional and non-professionals, and for those who have the desire to learn! At "The Harlem Knitting Circle" we teach through informal sharing of what we already know and want to learn. HKC is a weekly event that occurs every Saturday at the Harlem Branch Library on 124th Street & 8th Avenue. HKC is open to anyone who shows an interest in teaching and/or learning knitting/crocheting techniques and skills. All fabric arts and entrepreneurial ideas are welcomed! HKC is free and open to everyone. Children should be accompanied by an adult. You must bring your own materials and we ask for a food donation to go on our "Snack Table". "It is through our ACTS OF KINDNESS events, sharing techniques, skills, food, and laughter we seek to knit together our global community."
